Volunteer Opportunities
AppleTree wouldn’t be the same without the loving and caring volunteers that take time out of their busy schedule to read a book to a classroom, be a classroom aid, or help tutor school-age students. Whether it’s fixing some maintenance repairs or helping supervise a field trip, we couldn’t continue to offer such quality services without our volunteer staff. Volunteers are needed to help with the front desk, run the library, tutor in English, math, and science, and to help with gardening, music, and art.
Volunteers also play a large part in our three annual fundraisers: Cow Patty Bingo, Harvest Festival, and Bar D. These fundraisers occur in October and February and take at least 20 volunteers each to complete.
